WHO WE ARE

The Indianapolis Education Association (IEA) represents teachers in the Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS).  As the exclusive representative, IEA bargains the teacher contract with the IPS administration. The association supports its members through bargaining, discussion and representation on evaluations.

IEA is an affiliate of the Indiana State Teachers Association and the National Education Association. Both locally and nationally, members of IEA advocate for traditional, community public schools.
